Card Gurus (“Card Gurus,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates the website at thecardgurus.com and a retail card shop at 2401 W Pecan St, Ste 102, Pflugerville, Texas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or get in touch with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our site we ask for general contact information — your full name, your email address, and whatever you choose to write in your message. If you contact us by phone, email or social media, or bring a collection in for us to look at, we may also keep basic notes about that conversation so we can follow up with you.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records limited technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the page that referred you, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visit. Our web host also keeps standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as payment card numbers, bank details or government ID numbers through this website. In-store purchases are handled in person through our point-of-sale provider, and we do not store your card details.

Independent small businesses that rent booth space in our shop run their own operations. If you give your information directly to one of those businesses, that business handles it under their own practices rather than ours.

Our website links to other services, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, and Google Maps, and to the Instagram pages, eBay stores, websites, and other pages of the independent small businesses that rent booth space in our shop. Once you follow a link or interact with an embedded feature, the other company’s privacy policy applies. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their practices.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as we need them to answer your question, complete a transaction and keep reasonable business records, and after that only as long as the law requires. Analytics and server log data are kept on the shorter retention schedules set by those services.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop sending you shop announcements. Just contact us using the details below and we will do our best to help. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws; tell us what you would like and we will let you know what we are able to do. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Children’s privacy
Families are always welcome in the shop, but our website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including serving our site over a secure (HTTPS) connection. No website or method of storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
